Dresses - they are not going anywhere. For fall, layer with a leather jacket and pair with boots for a very modern, very fashion "right" look.
Get a jumpstart on your belts and forget hemlines. There are no particular hemlines grabbing the attention, right now. There were shorts and super short dresses but pants were the talk of the town
As for pants, they were offered in many options. The peg leg,harem pants, cropped pants, wide leg, name it- the options were plentiful. If you buy cropped pants this season, you will be able to wear them next season.
Prints, were plentiful at Prada, as were chiffon and sheer fabrics. Layer your sheer blouses with a atank underneath.
Sports references were plentiful. Does this mean we can actually be comfortable and also be in style. You betcha!
Considering the current climate I would aim to be as adventurous as possible with the colour palette you buy into. There are plenty of neutrals for you to create a background in terms of merchandising but the catwalks were awash with bright colour from zingy jewel colours to energetic prints. Prints in general provide a really easy way to buy into colour.
